GRP SUPPORT AND ACCESSORIES
EXduro™ GRP support systems are engineered to provide reliable structural support for cable management installations in demanding industrial environments. These systems incorporate adjustable vertical hinge components, allowing flexibility for on-site modifications and alignment during installation.
The riser structure is reinforced using angled splice plates, which help maintain stability and structural integrity across cable ladder assemblies. To improve system safety and performance, ladder rung edges are carefully trimmed to minimise snagging during installation or cable placement.
Innovative design techniques used in the construction of GRP structural beams enable these support systems to withstand significant loads and cross-sectional stresses. Snap-lock mechanisms are also integrated into the design to ensure cable trays and ladder systems remain securely positioned.
Manufactured from fibreglass composite materials, EXduro™ support systems maintain reliable performance even in low-temperature environments. The material composition contains no halogen content, helping prevent distortion, warping, or structural deflection over time.
GRP STRUTS
GRP struts are increasingly used in industrial and infrastructure applications due to their high strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and long-term durability. EXduro™ GRP struts are designed to enhance the load-bearing capacity of support structures while maintaining a lightweight installation profile.
In structural applications, struts help distribute compressive forces more effectively, reducing the risk of buckling, deformation, or structural failure. Their lightweight characteristics also help minimise dead loads on foundations and supporting structures, which can lead to significant cost savings—particularly in sectors such as marine infrastructure and offshore installations.
GRP CEILING MOUNTS
EXduro™ GRP ceiling mounting systems offer a durable and cost-effective alternative to traditional metal support components. Designed for efficient installation, these mounts provide long-term reliability while reducing maintenance requirements.
The corrosion-resistant nature of Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) allows ceiling mounts to perform consistently even in harsh environments exposed to moisture, chemicals, or outdoor weather conditions.
Despite their lightweight construction, GRP ceiling mounts maintain high structural strength and rigidity. Because the composite material does not require protective coatings, these systems eliminate issues such as paint peeling, blistering, or corrosion over time.
Additionally, GRP components provide excellent electrical insulation and are transparent to radio frequency signals, making them suitable for installations in environments where magnetic fields, electrical systems, or communication equipment are present.
