GRP CABLE LADDERS & TRAYS
Treadwell’s GRP cable ladder systems are designed to provide reliable cable management for industrial and infrastructure installations. The systems are supplied with a comprehensive range of fittings and accessories, including tee sections, cross sections, internal and external bends (45° and 90°), horizontal bends, couplers, reducers, anchoring components, and structural support systems.
Manufactured from Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP), these cable ladder systems offer several performance advantages over conventional metallic alternatives. The composite construction provides corrosion resistance, fire-retardant properties, UV stability, and resistance to chemical exposure, ensuring durability even in demanding environments.
Because of their lightweight design and high strength-to-weight ratio, GRP cable ladder systems are easier to transport and install while maintaining excellent structural performance for long-term cable support.

Treadwell’s EXduro™ GRP cable management range includes cable trays, ladders, and structural supports designed for environments where traditional metal systems may deteriorate or require extensive maintenance.
The EXduro™ system provides a corrosion-resistant, non-conductive, and lightweight solution for industrial cable management, helping improve safety and reliability in installations exposed to moisture, chemicals, or harsh weather conditions.
GRP Instrumentation Trays
GRP instrumentation trays are designed to support lightweight electrical wiring systems and pneumatic tubing installations. Treadwell supplies both solid and ventilated tray options, complete with pre-assembled fittings and pre-drilled straight sections.
This design allows for faster installation and efficient cable routing, helping minimise disruption to daily operations during installation or system upgrades.
GRP Covers
EXduro™ GRP cable ladder covers provide reliable long-term protection for cables installed in exposed environments. The single-piece peaked cover design allows water and debris to run off efficiently while maintaining easy installation.
Engineered for a design life of up to 50 years, these covers help protect cable systems from environmental exposure and mechanical damage. Flat cover options are also available where installation height restrictions apply.
GRP Splice Plates
Treadwell supplies GRP splice plates in both horizontal and vertical configurations to support the connection and alignment of cable ladder sections. Associated accessories can also be supplied to complete the installation.
Available with flat or peaked cover options, these splice plates maintain the same benefits as other GRP components, including non-conductivity and resistance to electromagnetic interference, making them suitable for electrically sensitive environments.
