GRP Screening & Fencing Solutions

Treadwell’s SecurEX® GRP Fencing and Screening System is designed to provide reliable perimeter protection across a wide range of infrastructure and industrial environments. The system is widely used in electrical substations, switchyards, rail corridors, overhead line structures, chemical processing facilities, ports and marine infrastructure, airports, defence sites, mining operations, and other critical assets.

Developed using Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) composite materials, SecurEX® delivers a durable and versatile fencing solution suitable for both industrial security applications and architectural environments where safety, longevity, and aesthetics are important.

GRP fencing systems are non-conductive and corrosion-resistant, making them particularly suitable for electrically sensitive installations. This makes them an ideal choice for areas surrounding railway signalling equipment, electrical infrastructure, and locations where power transmission, magnetic fields, or radio frequency (RF) interference must be carefully managed.

The system is also well suited for coastal and high-moisture environments, where traditional steel fencing may deteriorate due to salt exposure and corrosion.

Treadwell’s composite fencing systems offer flexible design and installation options, allowing panels to be either bolted to structural supports or embedded depending on project requirements. The GRP resin systems can also be adapted to suit specific environmental or performance demands.

With lightweight components, fast installation, and minimal maintenance requirements, GRP fencing systems provide a practical and cost-effective alternative to traditional materials.

The SecurEX® system integrates Treadwell’s GRP grating panels with ArchitEX™ GRP structural profiles, creating a strong and adaptable fencing solution. Designed with anti-climb features, SecurEX® panels can also incorporate razor wire hoops or barbed wire to increase perimeter security when required.

Unlike steel fencing systems, GRP fencing does not require earthing, bonding, or protective coatings, helping to reduce installation complexity and ongoing maintenance costs.

GRP PALISADE PANEL

GRP Palisade Panels provide high-strength perimeter protection with enhanced anti-climb performance. With panel sizes available up to 2.4 metres in width and height, these systems combine robust security with a modern appearance and can be installed across varied terrain conditions.

GRP STANDARD MESH PANEL

Standard Mesh Panels deliver cost-effective perimeter security with excellent visibility. Available with 42 × 42 mm or 32 × 32 mm apertures, these lightweight panels reduce wind load while maintaining strong structural performance. Panels are available up to 2.4 metres in height and width, making them suitable for areas where visibility and airflow are important.

GRP MINI MESH PANEL

Mini Mesh Panels feature a 12 × 12 mm aperture, offering improved privacy and enhanced security. These panels are ideal for locations where preventing objects from passing through the fence is important while maintaining a strong protective barrier.

GRP MICRO MESH PANEL

Micro Mesh Panels provide increased screening and security, featuring a 7 × 7 mm aperture that significantly reduces visibility while preventing small objects from passing through the structure. Panels are available up to 2.4 metres in height and width.

GRP SOLID PANEL

Solid GRP Panels deliver maximum privacy and impact resistance by eliminating apertures entirely. These panels provide complete visual screening and are ideal for environments where full perimeter coverage and enhanced protection are required.

RAZOR HOOP AND BARBWIRE

Razor wire hoops or barbed wire can be installed with any SecurEX® panel configuration, providing an additional level of perimeter protection for high-security environments.

GRP SLIDING GATES

GRP Sliding Gates are designed for locations with limited space, offering a durable access solution manufactured entirely from corrosion-resistant composite materials. Unlike traditional gates that rely on surface coatings, GRP sliding gates maintain long-term durability even in harsh environmental conditions.

GRP Swing Gates provide reliable access control for a wide range of industrial applications. Commonly used in substations, chemical processing plants, and infrastructure facilities, these gates can be installed as both main access points or pedestrian entry gates.

GRP SCREEN GUARD PANEL

GRP Screen Guard Panels offer durable screening and safety guarding solutions for conveyors and other high-risk areas within industrial and commercial facilities. Available in 15 mm or 25 mm thickness, these panels can also be manufactured with a solid surface option for additional chemical protection, wind shielding, and visual privacy.
